Limited quantities of cat art cards (sorry, dog cards have sold out) are available from previous years. To send these cards to your recipients, please clearly mark “cat” on the “note” line beneath the recipient’s address on the order form. If we run out of these designs we will call you before proceeding with your order. If the “note” line is left blank, we will send this year’s horse art card.

Looking for a unique gift
for the animal lover on your holiday gift list? Consider sending them a special holiday gift greeting card from the Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine.
The cards make ideal holiday gifts for veterinarians, friends, family, people’s pets, or for anyone who loves animals. For a suggested $10 donation per card, the School will send recipients of your choice a holiday card with a message stating that a donation was made in their name to the School of Veterinary Medicine.
We personally address and sign these cards for you. (New this year – you can also order blank cards in sets of 10. These will be mailed directly to you for your use.)
Proceeds from these gift cards benefit cats, dogs, horses and other animal species by ensuring that animals continue to benefit from the latest health advancements, facility upgrades, and service enhancements at the school. Ultimately, these gifts allow us to better serve you, your animals and our students.
Each year, a different artist donates the artwork for the Holiday Card. This year’s oil painting, “Advice for Ladybug,” was donated by Dr. Gayle Leith, a 1988 graduate of the UW School of Veterinary Medicine who enjoys painting as a hobby. Her painting features a young girl at a horse show.
All gifts are appreciated, and you can use the holiday card order form to make an end of the year donation if you are not interested in the cards. (Please note that all gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Credit card gifts must be made online before 10 pm on December 31 or received at the school by December 28, 2009 to be processed as a 2009 gift. Gifts made by checks must be postmarked by December 31.)

To ensure card delivery by December 23, please return your forms by December 14, 2009. Card quantities are limited, so please order early to ensure availability. We will not begin mailing cards until December 10. If you are requesting blank cards, we will send those to you as soon as we receive your order.
